Questions families actually ask
Is our household list private?
Yes. Each household is isolated from every other family. Nobody can see your items unless you share your invite code with them.
Does this work on a phone?
Yes. On iPhone, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen — HouseTally’s H icon is what should appear. Android can install it the same way from the browser menu.
How do I invite my partner?
Open Family after you sign up and share the private invite code. They enter it while creating their account and land on the same inventory.
How is this different from a grocery app?
Grocery apps help you shop or follow recipes. HouseTally watches what you already have and tells you when staples will run out, then builds the list from that — not from a weekly meal plan.
